Researcher and Lecturer

Eunike Wetzel studied psychology at universities in Gießen and Madrid before graduating from Humboldt-University in Berlin in 2010. She received her Dr. phil. in psychology from Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg in 2013 for her dissertation “Investigating response styles and item homogeneity using item response models”. Since April 1st 2014, Eunike Wetzel is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Konstanz.

Eunike Wetzel’s research focuses on response biases in psychological assessment, in particular on response styles and socially desirable responding. Eunike Wetzel also conducts research on applications of item response modeling to test construction and questionnaire design. Further research interests include personality psychology and methods of large-scale assessments.
